What does a managed service provider do?
A managed service provider (MSP) takes ongoing responsibility for your IT after it is deployed: monitoring, maintenance, updates, security and support. You get an experienced team on call without having to build one in-house.
Can you supply equipment and licences as well as install them?
Yes. We sell, set up and deploy enterprise solutions, so you can procure hardware, software and licensing through us and have the same team install and support it.
Is Scabbard registered with the ICT Authority?
Yes. Scabbard is registered with Kenya’s ICT Authority (ICTA), which supports our eligibility for public-sector technology projects.
What is SCADA and why does it matter for utilities?
SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) lets operators monitor and control pumps, valves, reservoirs and substations remotely, in real time. It helps utilities detect problems early, reduce losses and run networks more efficiently.
Do you install fibre for last-mile connectivity?
Yes. We deliver fibre-optic infrastructure and have experience with last-mile connectivity, including the civil works such as trenching and ducting.
